CHILL IN CAFE

The name really speaks for itself here. From the moment you walk in you cant help but feel somewhat relaxed. Having Chillout sessions; sounds of Del Mar playing softly in the background, dim lighting, various board games and magazines stashed around you can really unwind and escape the daily grind at Chill In. Unique art pieces by Tony Stephens are hung around the cafe and each piece is available for purchase!

Being positioned in the heart of Palm Beach this little cafe has a nice steady flow of customers coming and going on a regular basis. I found myself tucked into the comfy lounges up the back whilst I browsed the menu. My initial thoughts were that they had a pretty great all-day breakfast selection and also that the prices were very reasonable. Lets be honest, some places charge like a million dollars for something we could whip up at home for $5! So I was pretty happy! Don’t worry vegos – the menu also has vegetarian options! I ordered a large cappuccino and the Avocado Feta Smash on Organic Sourdough. As the waitress approached with my meal my eyes lit up with excitement. Holey moley it was huge and it looked amazing! As I devoured my food I started to notice the feta to avocado ration. Now, I’m a BIG fan of avocado and I like to taste my avocado. The feta was slightly overpowering for my taste buds unfortunately. Nonetheless I completely finished my entire meal with barely a crumb left on the plate. The coffee was slightly on the bitter side with a dark chocolate aftertaste. If you like black coffee this could be a great blend for you!

With the funky decor and relaxed vibe you could easily find yourself spending a few hours here immersed with a good book – and I did! Did I mention Chill In has WiFi AND power points..?! If your like me and prefer to take your work outside of the house then this is the perfect place to go. P.S take a jacket with you – they have amazing air-conditioning and it will be sure to give you a CHILL.  😉
